Hello People, Im seriously considering buying a PS3, but I got some questions were I could not really get an answer from in existing topics/threads. A buddy of mine told me that you could (legally) download game-Mods, for example the game Oblivion, using the PS3 online service, like xbox-live, only then its all free. Im not talking about cheat-mods, just cool extras that will make you play that particular game longer cause of the extra stuff you downloaded. Is this possible? So when I buy oblivion for PS3, can I really download more weapons/armor/monsters and lots of other stuff like you can do for the PC all for free??

Is this possible at all? Please note that I used Oblivion for an example. Of course my question involves any existing games for PS3. I hope you people can ease my mind on this matter:D. Are official add-on content I think, with this said, the PS3 online service isnt that much different then the XBOX-live marketplace. It would have been an awesome feature of the PS3 online service (dont know how its called:rolleyes: ) if you could download non-official add-ons for your PS3 games. I own a 360 as well and compared to PC, I really have the feeling I'm basicly 'stuck' with the game you buy on the console, because the PC versions seem to be evolving and people keep adding content so users can download it to there HDD. Too bad the PS3 isnt that much different from XBOX.:shame:. Thx for the replies people.
