I have Windows 7 with a PCI parallel port card. I can print fine from Windows 7. The printer is exposed in the XP VM, and I can print to it from within the XP VM. But my DOS program prints only to LPT. I have tried sharing the printer under Windows 7, but the XP VM doesn't seem to see the shared printer.

When I try addressing it directly with NET USE, I receive this message: System error 66 has occurred. The network resource type is not correct. I also tried adding a network printer through XP's add a printer wizard, but it does not see the Win7 share.
