That's the old style license, which I'm pretty sure is no longer in circulation. I based that off of my Driver's License, which I got renewed in 2009. That being said, my driver's license has one of those red bars on it, which is put on the driver's licenses of people who are under 21, so it might not have as stringent of security measures. However, if you were making a driver's license in order to get drinks when you're under 21, I believe this would be a better bet, because, really, who gets a fake ID with one of the red bars on it? If you are just doing this for fun, I applaud your hard work and conquering of challenges. You asked for suggestions, and my suggestion is to not do anything illegal with it. If you want to drink, have someone older buy you alcohol. If you're in it for the bars, you're not missing anything except for a thin wallet. It's not all it's cracked up to be.
I'm over 21, and yeah, I'm just doing this for fun, I won't be trying to make any fake ID's. Alright, as promised, attached is a tarballed xcf file of my creation.

Again, its innacurate-- I don't have the fonts that the DMV uses, so I just chose the closest ones I could. There are font packs on the internet that have attempted to recreate these fonts. I believe one of the font packs is called 'nobelcat' or 'noblecat', I've seen both spellings, but I have not been able to find them. I wouldn't try to make an ID with this, as any competent bouncer would spot it as a fake right away, but feel free to play around with it.
