This is problematic for running older games like MC2; something I didn't really consider until after I upgraded and subsequently performed a fresh install of Windows 10. The EULA was previously posted on the MSDN forums but is no longer directly accessible. It is available via the Internet Wayback Machine. However, as the Shared Source release of MC2 doesn't actually contain the complete codebase, it can't be safely assumed that it's release implicitly allows for SafeDisc circumvention.
I recently downloaded Mechcommander 2, using XP SPack 2 and 3 to try and get the compatibility to work. However, no matter what I tried, whenever I launched a mission, the game would show the proper resolution for a moment in the loading screen, then would change to a resolution that cuts off a third of the lower and right sides of the screen. Is there anyone who has had this problem and knows how to fix it?

The exact walk-through of the issue is as follows: • Game launches • Launch mission • Load screen starts in a good resolution • The screen goes black • The screen loads in, the link in original post shows that issue • The game begins, but my HUD looks like this: I hope this is a detailed enough post so that you can figure out what happens.
