Not RISK, but still a great game! This is not RISK. I have been looking forward to a medieval iteration of RISK for a long time, and although the setting is medieval, the mechanics are different for nearly every aspect of the game. They included money, different types of units with unique combat implications, card-based strategic play and many other differences. That being said, this may appeal to a wider audience since the game has a faster pace than standard risk. Only four players can participate, which means less waiting for your turn to come around, and the 'kings orders' system ensures that all players are engaged throughout the duration of each turn. The sculpts for the units are beautifully done and are very fun to play with.

If you like RISK but would enjoy a faster paced play-style then I definitely recommend this game! Deadpool Game there.
